The Monon South Trail is a proposed 57-mile trail between Mitchell and the Clark/Floyd County border that connects eight local communities in the Lawrence, Orange, Washington, and Clark Counties uplands region of southern Indiana. Once completed, the trail will increase connectivity and qualities-of-life for Monon South Trail communities.
To assist in the management of the trail, a private, nonprofit organization was created called the Southern Indiana Trailways.
